Mumbai, daily.

It’s really hard to fathom into words what Mumbai means to me. It’s strange how life in Mumbai is so fast, but, at the same time, spending just 5 minutes observing the waves at Marine drive can calm you down so quickly.

Also, have you really been to Mumbai if you haven’t tasted the mouth watering vada pav and the super tempting Chaat??? You can’t afford to miss these taste bud pleasing street foods.

Trains – One can’t not have experienced a train ride at least once if you’re in Mumbai. Even the most hoity crowd of Mumbai must have done that. Trains are of supreme importance for everyday commuters whose travel hours would otherwise go up to 5 hours a day or more were it not for the trains. P.S. The number of hours is directly proportional to the cost as for other modes of transport.
The efforts put in everyday and night by each individual in this city that almost never sleeps is commendable. Mumbaikars strive each day to feed their families, they run errands in between and after office hours a hundred times to drop their kids off to the various academic and extracurricular classes.
Mumbaikars are great at multitasking. From talking over the phone while driving to acting like you’re singing when you meet the eye of a traffic police, from boarding the local without a ticket to walking past the TC at the platform confidently when you’re actually praying to God inside, they do it all.
With the usual busy and fast life and no time to spare, you’ll pretty much everyday find people running behind trains like there’s not going to be a next one, but, you’ll also find people willing to aid if they find you in trouble, people feeding the poor, yet, you may find people who are solemnly upto no good, too.
What a paradox Mumbai is!
